My station is located in Salem, Oregon and this setup works very well for me.

As pictured, on the top row, left side, is a spare Astron 30-amp switching power supply. On the same shelf is a Diamond SWR meter. In the next compartment to the right is a Yaesu FT-920 transceiver with an Ameritron 600-watt amplifier.

Starting at the lower left, I have the rotor control for the Yaesu rotator turning my Cushcraft A3 Tri-Band beam. Another Astron 30-amp power supply is just to the right, and a high-power SWR meter, also a Diamond.

Just out of the picture on the right is a Hewlett Packard computer used for logging.
