I thought since I have been reading WorldRadio for years it was about time to submit my shack for your consideration in the Station Appearance section. The good-looking young man in one of the pictures was me, WN5APD in 1962 running a Viking ranger and a Halicrafters SX 96 receiver. As you can see from the next picture, the equipment has been upgraded a bit. It certainly looks better without a current picture of an older WN5APD, now K5MV.
I’ve been a Ham since 1961. My interest are HF/VHF, SSB/CW, ragchewing on 75 meters and chasing DX on 10/15/20. I also have an interest in 6 & 2.
The antennas I use: HF 3-element Hygain Yagi, 55 feet; 5 element 6-meter M2, 65 feet; 9-element 2 Meter M2, 70 feet. 75 Meter “Double Bazooka” Inverted V, 55 feet; 40 Meter Inverted V, 60 feet.
