The author draws on his 34 years as a public safety professional
in law enforcement, fire, EMS, and Search & Rescue functions
as well as 44 years as a licensed Amateur Radio operator in offering
tips for EMCOMM managers. His 15 years as a Police Chief and two
years as Chief of a Rural Fire District provide a realistic and
very applicable management perspective.
